Of the billions of snowflakes that fall in a storm no two are exactly alike, but every one is patterned on the six-sided hexagram. Each is unique yet conforms to the same basic shape. This sort of miracle makes us realize that in spite of the great diversity and seeming chaos in the world there is underlying order and controlling intelligence. Sir James Jeans recognized this when he said that the world 'looked more like a great thought than a great machine'. This great thought is seen by some as a divine plan within which each living entity is an essential part of one wholeness. This wholeness, which is everything in the world, both seen, and unseen, can be looked upon as a great pulsating energy-field in which we live and move and have our being. If we widen our view still further, we can see this wholeness and the intelligence within it as Nature or, if you like, as God. But not a God outside ourselves. We are that God - He is in us and we are in Him. Divine Will, Wisdom, Love
