It is very common to dream about all kinds of faces. Strange faces and familiar faces alike are frequent images in our dreams. Interpret your dream by considering the face and the general content of the dream. A stranger's face could represent different parts of your personality or psyche. You think that you are seeing a stranger but in actuality you are seeing a different part of yourself. Jung said that the stranger is a part of you that comes from the unconscious. A comic face may indicate that you have a conscious or unconscious need to mock or snub the conventional. Featureless faces suggest that you may feel unnoticed and unappreciated. On the other hand, some believe that the blank or unclear face represents a teacher. That is someone who is there to show and teach you a lesson but you are unprepared for it and the face is blank. Smiling faces are representative of happy thoughts and feelings and possibly anticipation of a joyful event in the near future. Your own face in a mirror can represent a secret. Always remember the compensatory nature of dreams and their ability to point to the opposite of what you experience in daily life.

A factory in a dream can represent good health or job satisfaction.

If you fail at something or feel like a failure in your dream, it can be a sign that you lack enthusiasm in your waking life.

Dreams that we remember are those that have penetrated through our ego defences and their messages have begun to come into our conscious awareness. Often, we do not have a full understanding of the meaning of a particular dream. Awareness is a long and continual process. If you remember dreams in which you are fainting, the setting of the dream and the details leading to the fainting spell are important. Fainting in your dream suggests that you are unable to consciously confront the issues or the topic that is being raised by the unconscious. In daily life, we faint when we are ill or when we are overcome by environmental forces (i.e. heat, smells, a traumatic event or a dramatic visual image). In the dream, internal forces, images or emotions that may be to powerful for us to process may have an overwhelming effect on the dream ego and fainting occurs. The fainting dream may be the first step in a process of becoming more aware of a particular area of your life. The unconscious will continue to send up messages and eventually you may be able to experience the unconscious psychic event that currently results in fainting.

If you dream about a fairy, you are hoping to hear good news.

Dreams about falling are very common anxiety dreams that can represent underlying fears and feelings of inadequacy and helplessness. Interpret your dream by considering your primary fears, current difficulties, and situations in your life that seem to be on a downward spiral, especially those situations that seem outside of your control (financial, romantic, etc.). Some people believe that if you keep falling in your dream and don't wake up that you will die at the point of impact. This is absolutely not true. In a falling dream you wake up out of fear and not because of danger of dying.

You could be falling from anywhere, a high rise building, from a mountain, from a plane, or even from your bed.

This is a very common dream, and is sometimes accompanied by muscle jerks, which may jolt you, awake.

The dream can occur due to:

* The posture of a limb dangling off the bed
* Lowering of your blood pressure
* Movement of fluid in the middle ear

After the fall, you may be hurt, you may be unharmed, or you wake up before you hit the ground.

At an emotional level the dream probably signifies a fear of fall from position/moral/ethical values, sexual inadequacy, fear of losing your job, the way your dream ends tells you how you would handle such a situation.

One interesting theory of a falling dream goes way back when man made his house on trees?

Recurring falling dreams could mean that your emotional strength is not at an optimum level. Trying to relax, by listening to music , visualizing tranquil scenes, can help you avoid falling dreams.

Dreaming that something hanging above you is about to fall, or that something falls and misses you is a warning of potential danger. Something falling and missing you can also be a sign that you've had a narrow escape.

Dreaming that you are famous can mean that you need to believe in yourself more and give yourself credit for your talents and your accomplishments. It could also mean that you want the recognition and respect of others. The first people in your life with whom you have any social interaction are the members of your family. Therefore, a dream about a family member can represent any waking life social situation. For example, if you are arguing with your mother or father in a dream, you may be having a problem with another authority figure, such as an employer, in your waking life. If you dream that an older sibling is teaching you how to do something, you may be hoping that you will receive assistance with something from someone else in your waking life.

A family can also represent security and community.

The meaning of a dream about family will largely depend upon your personal experiences with your own family members.

A famine in a dream can symbolize a desire to me more prosperous, whether materially or emotionally.
