If you are having dreams about pacifying someone, it may be helpful to examine who it is being pacified. Different people in dreams often represent aspects of ourselves, so if you have a loud, boisterous friend it can sometimes be that they represent your loud and boisterous side in your dreams. Or there may be someone in waking life who you think of as nervous and unwilling to try new thing for fear of what may go wrong, so this person in your dreams can represent that nervous aspect of yourself… so if this person was being pacified in your dream it can mean that your subconscious is trying to tell you not to be so nervous all the time, to go do stuff. Obviously it could be more straight forward than that, someone else could be pacifying you directly. These types of dreams are more direct, where it’s more obvious that you are not thinking how you should in waking life, and you’re probably aware that you are not, but you need a firm message to pacify your misgivings. So, you see, it all depends on what emotion is being pacified.
