Well, one thing I can definitely say about the dream is that it was interesting. I think the workmen have to do with an idea of working on yourself, maybe your subconscious' way of telling you that you need to try to fix something in your life. A wheel is an interesting symbol because it can represent forward movement, like the movement of a car, or just going around and around but really staying in the same place. I thought it was interesting that you referred to a wheel as wagon wheel and a water wheel. Maybe you and I just use the English language differently, but to me, a wagon wheel is something that moves forward, while a water wheel is something that is stationery. So perhaps the dream was revealing your uncertainty about whether you can fix whatever the problem is: will you be able to move forward or will you be stuck in the same place?

I think the angel-like creature represents something positive that you want to achieve in your life. The demons probably represent the things that are potentially holding you back from achieving that. A child in a dream usually represents hope and a new beginning, and the fact that the child was a hermaphrodite probably means that you have different ways of achieving want you want; you have choices in your life.
