i tried sooo hard to do that too....but it wouldnt happen. once i stopped trying so hard...took a week off..it happened. im talking about lucid dreaming, i havent tried the other things. as long as u remeber to do the dream signs through the day every once and a while....ur brain will make a habit. it helps to do them when something weird happens while your awake. i have never actually induced one though. good luck!
