I think the fact that you don't actually bleed and that you have a method for making the wound heal in your dreams could reflect that you are having difficulties with something, but you feel you have the means within you to overcome the difficulties.
Sorry it's a bit vague because I don't know anything about your life at the moment, you may be able to come up with something better with the above on hands in mind?
