I have been waking an seeing images for quite sometime now. Its interesting that you mention the spider because I see that more often than any other object, and yes after I watch it in terror for a while it does discipate. I have waken to see objects floating around the top of the room some that dont make any sense but it appears to be symbolic. Its always frightening though. Except for one time I saw an image of a present a box with a red ribbon rapped around it. It caught my eye and I watched it get closer to me. This time I thought "I want to see what happens" since it was something that had a more pleasant image to it. It came within a few inches of the bed and stopped and then the present(the box)slowly started to fall and it looked like little particles of light that fell over what appeared to be a person a man and I could see every detail of him through these little particles of light. He was beautiful he was the most beautiful man I had ever seen. My eyes got big and I looked at him in amazement. He had the most beautiful smile I had ever seen, then the lights slowly started to go out. I laid back in bed and wondered who this man was and what it meant he was definitly younger than I was. Does anyone know if there are any books on this kind of thing. What are these floating things. I was looking at sylvia brown on the montel show today and she said that all orbs are angels, but when i google orbs there just plain balls of light. If anyone knows what these things are called and if there are any books on them let me know thanks. You are not alone!
