well im no expert, but to my opinion, i suggest you tell him how you feel. im sorry to say that not all of us get what we want so if he rejects you you surely will feel a hole in your heart because yes you are in love with him ; and understand completely because you know him since childhood, but if he feels the same way, you'll feel a lot better...! that's all i can tell you! good luck,
