So last night I had a strange/interesting dream that I think has something to do with me and my boyfriend.

My bf was with me in an apartment in my dream. His ex-girlfriend was also there (in real life I've only met her once and she seemed nice). In my dream I sensed myself feeling a little bit jealous but I didn't mind her being there too much since she seems like a nice person. I walked into the living room and opened the front door. A large snake came in through the door and I ran to the room to tell me bf that there was a snake in the house. I told him to kill it. We closed the door to the room because the snake had been following me and we didn't want the snake to get in. Then his ex-girlfriend all of a sudden has a gun. She opens the door and the snake is supposed to be right there so each time she opens the door she starts shooting. Instead of the snake being there it is a cat and she shoots at the cat 2 or 3 times until it's killed. The snake is still somewhere in the living room but somehow I end up going back into the living room. My bf and his ex are still in the bedroom for a minute and I hear a sound that sounds like he is kissing her and I go back to see if they are going to come out of the room. They begin to follow me and we quickly leave the house to avoid the snake and we get in a car.

I'm not so sure if the ex-girlfriend was in my dream do to jealousy or trust issues... I mean I felt a slight sense of that in the dream however I was somewhat okay with her being in the dream and actually the snake is what stood out most to me in the dream. That and the fact that the ex-girlfriend had the gun and was trying to shoot the snake and killed a cat instead. She was the one doing the shooting when I had originally told my bf to get the snake.
