I was at a stop light with my then girlfriend at night and thought my friend was in his car right behind us at the light. It was night so all I could really see for sure was the outline of his car and headlights. I told my girlfriend, "I'm going to lose him". The light turned green and I took off like a bandit. About 3 blocks later I hung a left and just then saw the cop's lights come on way behind me. I was driving my RX-7 with out of state plates. He finally caught me when I stopped into a closed gas station. He jumped out of his car yelling at me to get out and get on the ground with his gun drawn. When I told him what I thought I was doing, losing my friend, he laughed and said....."I was this far from running you in". I passed all his "drunk test's" and he sent us on our way. Lesson.....know who's behind you when you're gonna get crazy.
