Just a note as this is the first post in this new forum: Anything posted here doesn’t have to be breaking news necessarily, so long as it’s news here, something discovered recently or about to happen in the near future so anyway….

Dan Foley, a Republican (for the Brits, that’s a political party, he doesn’t run a pub) from New Mexico, the self-proclaimed world capital for UFO culture, has put forward a proposal to have an Extraterrestrial Culture Day every second Thursday in February. He says that the bill will, “enhance relationships among the citizens of the cosmos, know and unknown,” and was proposed by Foley, “in recognition of the many visitations, sightings, unexplained mysteries and technological advances of alien beings in New Mexico.”

More likely than not, it’s a thinly disguised attempt to get more visitors to the area and boost the local economy, but will any aliens show up for the celebrations or, if they do, will we know they are there?

But can the banks change alien money?

They'll probably be too advanced to still use money, the alien visitors will just beam all the merchandise/memorabilia on board their ships and do a runner.

They probaby won't have to beam items up to their ship. They could just replicate anything they liked.

You're right, they could do that; just hope they don't start assimilating us into some kind of drone collective before they've properly introduced themselves.
