Hi Jade, that's exactly how it used to feel for me; I'd struggle really hard to wake up or snap out of it by trying to move my head - I used to be really frightened, scared that I was going to die or something.... then I'd wake up like you said and feel really drowsy and usually go back to sleep, whether I wanted to or not.
I just got used to it after a while and don't try to struggle anymore, it's pretty good fun then.
