Dream researcher J. Allan Hobson, who helped to develop the activation synthesis theory of dreams, and more recently introduced the idea that Dreaming is a Protoconscious State, has written an autobiography entitled "Dream Life: An Experimental Memoir " in which he discusses his life and the development of his dream theories.
