If you use an aid for a physical disability, do you still need it in your dreams?

I wear glasses/contact lenses in waking life.

One of my lucid dreaming "tests" is that if I take off my glasses or take out my contact lenses, everything looks the same afterwards. In waking life, I would barely be able to see my hand in front of my face.

Otherwise, I'm not sure if I wear them or not in my dreams. I think I only realize that I'm wearing them when I start to consider whether I am dreaming or I am awake.

I also have dreams about my contact lenses changing size and getting all strange and distorted, which I think is a common dream among contact lens wearers.

marcia it all depends on the dream if it is a dream of normal physics thenyes but if not the no. i too wear glasses butin my dreams i do too so i guess it all depends on your mind set
