Are elves real like on other planets or even this one?[/list]

I've never seen an elf on this or any other planet; it is possible I think that they are based on a race of people on Earth with elf-like qualities - though there is little mention of elf lore previous to Tolkien.

What if they used to be alive but most of them died off cause of us some of them are probably still in the forest.
