The plot/s of League of Gentleman:
Hilary Briss - AKA The Demon Butcher of Vasey - there story develops slowly so that it become apparent that the butcher is selling human meat, the meat is popular with certain townsfolk who, it become more and more obvious, are aware of the contents of these 'special' packages.
Pauline Campbell-Jones - a restart officer whose enthusiasm was matched only by her cruelty (and her love of pens). Her story is that of a failure, who wishes to prey on other people she thinks are failures. Her character develops and we see her obsession with pens grow, she eventually gets the sack and ends up being one of the unemployed, attending the classes she used to take, being taught by the person she used to bully.
Dr/Mr Matthew Chinnery - there appears to be a slight ambiguity about the title of this poor chap. He is indeed a doctor, though of the veterinary sciences. Unfortunately, despite displaying a detailed knowledge of the theory behind it all, he seems unable to go within a hundred yards of an animal without its dying in some horrific manner. The fun never ends.
Barbara Dixon - owner of Babs' Cabs, Royston Vasey's taxi service. She is a half transformed gender changer, a kind of running gag that she still has hairy man armed and hands, and a deep voice.
Papa Lazarou – is basically a dirty pervert, the extent of his depravity becomes clearer as the plot develops and we realise that he has video cameras installed in the flats that he rents to a young couple.....
There's tonnes of plot in L of G, like most sit coms
