Default Who is Terry Pratchett?

Hi Maljonic,

I read your recent dream entries and you mentioned Terry Pratchett a couple of times. I went to the link but couldn't figure it out.

Is he an inventor of computer games? Just curious.

He's a British author of mostly comedy fantasy novels, the most famous of which are his discworld series: http://www.terrypratchettbooks.org/discworld/

Ah, poor Death!
11 Reaper Man
Some of the Discworld fans’ most loved books are the Death books; that is the ones where Death plays a leading role. Being Death is a lonely job, you just don’t get the time to form friendships, no one is ever pleased to see you and, when you’ve developed a bit of a personality, you start to wonder what it’s all about. Dead people are not dying in huge numbers, it becomes such a huge problem that even the wizards of the Unseen University start to notice something is definitely up. Unfortunately for the Disc, it isn’t Death, who’s gone missing; well, actually, Death has decided to get away from it all and go and stay at a little farm on a hill and be called Bill. This novel is one of the more complicated tales with some very interesting insights into life, death and the human condition – a bit heavy going for a first time reader but a well loved story in Discworld fan circles.
