so the swimming pool at the gym only has a clock at one end so that you can't see the time if your lounging around in the spa bath (I know, the pain) ; so I put a note to the manager in the suggestion box a couple of months ago asking for another clock to be installed at the other end of the pool. Well today they've done it! So I just wanted to tell smiley (and others) that these things do work sometimes.

Thats fantastic though i say so myself .Its going to be suitably usefull for a long time.

it does pay to request things.....when i was living in the dorms i was a vegetarian and there were not many options in the dining hall except salads. So i complained several times.....and finally after a year of suggestions they brought in more options for vegetarians. Yay....Im not vegetarian anymore....but i am sure others are thankful for my suggestions.

After my sister went to Disneyworld, she wrote a letter of complaint to them because there wasn't anywhere to get healthy food; all they served anywhere was junk food.

They sent her some vouchers, but I don't know if they have started providing healthy food options.This was some years ago.

I take the women (at the eating disorder place i work ) to disneyland all the time for an outing.....and no they still do not have healthy food. We still always pack lunches and snacks. I should complain to them some more!
