Tuesday, my sister and I had spent the day browsing the stores, shopping and dining out. Coming out of a store in Waterville, Maine, we watched an object in the sky while we stood in the parking lot. We guessed that it was flying too low to be visible on radar.

It was dusk and there was still enough light in the sky to see it. The object was black, wider than a conventional aircraft, had no visible lights coming from it, and did not resemble a helicopter.

It was silent with no visible jet stream. It slowly moved across the sky until we could no longer see it (about 5 or 6 minutes).

We concluded that it was either extra-terrestrial or most likely a military craft. Either way, since we don't know what it was, we classified it as a UFO.

That's interesting, good to keep an open mind too.

This afternoon while sitting at the computer, some loud explosion occured. I called my neighbor who said said she was about to call me. We guessed anything from a structural collapse, dynamite, to a sonci boom. We have no idea but it scared the crap out of us.

This goes back a couple of months ago when several town residents heard "an explosion." The story ran in the local paper. People ran out of their homes and offices (it occured around 3:00 p.m. same as this time) to see if something fell on their roofs or if something exploded or collapsed.

Guess it happened again.

Maybe it will be in the local newspaper?

There was a bit about it in the police blotter today. Several people called complaining of explosions that shook their homes. The reports didn't come from the town I live in, neighboring towns and some as far away as 20 miles.
