If you go into the wilderness and attack another player (only if you attack first) and die you lose all your stuff; not just the stuff in your pack like normal, but everything.... including things like steal plate armour, adamant pickaxes and mithril helmets! Aaaaaaah.
No, the bank is safe. Just had to spend all my money again. I did get a mithril chainmail shirt, an addy helmet and an addy pickaxe though; so I'm quite well kitted out now.
