My friend whom I haven't seen or talked to in a few months called me today. He told me that he had a dream a couple days ago that I called to tell him I was pregnant.

It's really freaking me out.

well, if it's stressing you out, then I would say take a test.
But I don't think it's anything to be worried about.
You said you hadn't talked to them in a few months, and often times, in dreams, pregnancy means change, so maybe they felt that you were changing and that's what led to this dream of theirs?

Maybe just try to regularly stay in contact with them? You never know though.
