I had a very bad dream about my girlfriend last night. I woke up found myself in tears. I saw her laying in a casket of course older in age. I'm trying to understand the meaning of this.

Jeffrey, death in a dream is often about change and can be a very positive symbol - getting rid of something that is old and replacing it with something newer and better. However, since you were upset by the dream, perhaps you are worried about something that is changing in your relationship with your girlfriend, or you are worried that your relationship might change in the future.
