In my dream 3 of my friends and I are going to Chicago to visit my ex-lover/friend because he moved away. I saw their faces clearly and we were in this SUV type vehicle zooming down the highway and i knew we were on the way to Santa Barbara. The next scene in my dream, it was night time and I see the skyline in the distance, I am on-top of a hill and the only way down is this huge slide that had mud and water on it. I looked down and I was wearing green shoes, and I slid down it while standing up and keeping my balance (as if i had a skateboard, but i had none) I remember feeling anxious, but it was a good kind of anxious. the next scene i was already hanging out with him. He was sitting in this chair across from me but he looked very stiff and the vibe was awkward. he all of a sudden stood up and he said he had to go. he took off running down the street (which was MY street) but i didnt see him get up and run off. I just knew he had. I woke up and felt panicked! like I really needed to see him and make sure he was still around. it was a weird feeling. We ended our "affair" in good terms. We are still friends and we talk regularly.

It seems like you feel that there is unfinished business left over from when you had your affair that you still need to work out with your ex/friend.
