I have had dreams the past few nights that have this guy in them that I used to be head over heels for. I met him when I was in the military. We had everything in common and we could talk for hours. For me it was love at first sight. The only problem is is that he is married. He told me once that he didn't know how he could love 2 women at the same time, but he did. Anyways, in my first couple of dreams I see him in his uniform and he is just standing there looking at me, but in last night's dream he actually talked to me. I don't remember what was said but throughout the dream we kept trying to find a place where we could be alone together, just the two of us without any interruptions. Eventually we found somewhere and we began kissing. That's as far as it went (and we did kiss in real life, and that is as far as it went), but the next day he wound up telling his wife about it and then I woke up.

Wanting to be alone together in your dream could reflect the fact that in waking life you want to be "alone together" also - alone meaning that you are both single.

Telling his wife about it would be a part of your unconscious reminding you about the reality of the situation.

Would you still like to be in a relationship with him, or have you given up and resigned yourself to the fact that he's unavailable?

Well, he and his wife got stationed at a different base back in 2005 and it nearly broke my heart. When they left that was the last time that I saw him, and I then realized that I had to get over him so I could move on with my life, but I never stopped thinking about him, and I wonder why I am dreaming about him.

Could there be something happening in your life now that reminds you of him or the time when you were together.

Or could you be unhappy with some of the things in your life as they are today, and wishing you could go back to the past?
