does anyone think this means anything? i read the dictionary interpretation. the hug was very comforting, very long. then we began to kiss, not a long, romantic kiss, just short, but meaningful kisses. we've been talking in real life, but having problems, bc of his lying and cheating. does anyone recommend i tell him about this? we used to be very open and share everything with each other. thank you.

It sounds like the dream is saying that you want to be open with each other and share things again.

It doesn't necessarily mean that you want to get back together as boyfriend/girlfriend (although you might want that) but that you want to be able to communicate with each other the way you used to.

I think that if you tell him about it, you should be clear to him about what your feelings are, so he doesn't take things the wrong way.
