I had a dream that I'd like opinions on. I have an ex-friend/boyfriend (we had a brief fling but were mainly friends) who I have/had unrequited feelings for. He has a new girlfriend and I broke off contact months ago. In my dream his girlfriend was wearing a wedding dress (a simple one that was more like a bridesmaids dress) and there were other bridesmaids with her in a house. It appeared to be some sort of wedding rehearsal. My ex's mother was in the dream and she was talking to him as they watches the rehearsal. She asked him about me and questioned him as to whether he really wanted to be with his current gf. She also told him that she always liked me and that I was ladylike. I'm sure this is just subconscious angst and unresolved feelings but I would like others opinions. Thanks!

It does sound like wishful thinking to me.

Do you know how close he and his new girlfriend are? Is there a strong possiblity that they could be getting married soon, or is it just a fear that you have that he will marry someone else and you will never get him back?

I'm not really sure how close they are to marriage (if at all) as I have not kept in touch with him. It is a long distance relationship and he referred to it last year as something he was "stuck" in but I really could not say.

He isn't stuck. We all have choices. Sounds like he could have commitment issues. Sounds like you do have unresolved feelings for him. After all he is the one that got away.
I would consider this a blessing. JMO
