Hello! I'd like some opinions on this dream. Background info: I've been on a few dates with a co-worker, and I'm not sure where his feelings stand. I also recently attended the wedding of a close friend.

So in this dream, I was sitting at a restaurant with a few of my friends from different stages of my life. We were about to go to a wedding. I found out that this co-worker of mine was also going to be at the wedding and I got very excited and was talking about it with everyone at the table with me. Just then, he walked into the restaurant with some of his friends, one of whom I know. They were flirting with us, and we were talking about the wedding, and we even talked about how we would dance at the reception.

Well then, someone mentioned that a dish was going to be served containing peanuts, and my crush said he was allergic to peanuts. (He isn't really allergic to peanuts, but he was in the dream.) Then he and his friends stood up from the table to leave. I said "see you at the wedding" and he said "no, I can't go to the wedding because I'm allergic to peanuts and I'll die if I'm in the same room with them. But you should call me after the wedding." Then they left.

Any ideas what that could mean? Why the sudden peanut allergy?

I think the peanut allergy represents something that is emotionally unhealthy.

Could someone have mentioned peanuts (or nuts) and/or allergies which would have created the connection in your mind?
