Moonstorm is on the dream path to enlightenment
Default Lucid dream...very strange

Hi, I had a very odd dream last night. I met this guy, at like a little coffee shop or something. We got along right away and kept on talking and talking. He told me where he was from and I tried to explain to him where I was from. We ended up kissing and little bit, until I remembered that I was married. I said something like, "but I am married. We can do this kind of stuff in our dreams though right?" He said, "Yes, in our dreams." Kind of a stupid question to ask...but oh well. Anyway, I don't remember how it exactly went, but we knew one of use was about to wake up. I was sad and told him I didn't want to depart. So, as stupid as it may sound, I asked him for his number. He told me I wouldn't remember it anyways. I said, "yes I will, you'll see. I'll give you a call." Needless to say he was right. I don't remember the number and it would be too weird to call it even if I did. This was the strangest dream I had. I wonder if maybe I was communicating with him. Like maybe he's an actual person and....I don't know. I learned in Psychology not to look hard into dreams because they don't mean anything. Well, I for one don't believe that. This dream was just too real and too weird. What do you guys think??

Hi and Welcome!

I think you took a little rendezvous to spice up your life, or perhaps spice up your love life. Your dream partner was right, it's OK in dreams, even if you are married.

I don't know who your psychology professor was, but what you were told about dreams contradicts what I leaned in psychology class. Freud said:

Quote:
The interpretation of dreams is the royal road to knowledge of the unconscious activities of the mind.
Perhaps a little spice to your romantic life is in order.
