Dreaming Message Board

Last week i went and stayed at my mom and dad's new house. This is the first time i stayed over at their house in many years....since high school i think. Anyway i was dreaming that i was sleeping in the same room that i was actually sleeping in, on the floor. In my dream i woke up and saw ghosts walking up and down the hallway outside of the room. in my dream i thought "oh im just dreaming" and i shut my eyes and tried not to be afraid. suddenly i felt someone right next to my right ear (i was sleeping on my back) and then they whispered something in my ear (gibberish....something like "abbadoo") then i was so scared in my dream and felt frozen and i then actually woke up but was too scared to open my eyes just yet and i said out loud "is someone in here" then when i did not hear anything i opened my eyes and saw nothing. I was so scared even though i don't even believe in ghosts and i knew it was just a dream. my heart was beating so fast and i could not sleep the rest of the night till my dad's alarm went off and then i was able to sleep again b/c i knew he was awake.

Did you used to have lucid dreams when you were a little girl? It seems like staying at your parents house, as you did when you were a child, may have triggered something.
