Dreaming About a Man... Can't See His Face

A few days ago, I had a dream about being in a loving relationship with a man I haven't seen before yet felt very similar. However, his face has always been blurred by what appears to be a faint light. But there was a flashback within the dream that we had broken up, because I could no longer be with him and forced him to break up through a roundabout way. Somehow I have someone help me, but after it was done (before the breakup) I felt guilty and ran into a retail store to find him. When I called out to him, he yelled at me to stay back but I did not comply and ended up breaking up.
Right afterwards, I could see myself apologizing to him and somehow we get together again. This time however, we stayed together.
The weird thing is that the flashback I had in this dream was a previous dream I had a few months ago... It was just like a more in depth view behind it...

What does this dream mean?

Often if you dream about someone whose face you can't see, that person is really an aspect of your personality. Breaking up with him in the dream could have to do with feeling that you have had to let part of yourself go, maybe because of circumstances in your life that you couldn't control. The dreams could be about a desire to reacquaint yourself with that part of yourself.
