Default Confusing waking

I've had OBEs many times before, lucid dreams regularly, etc. But this is just sorta weird, and I don't think it falls under the categories of either of those.

I'm laying in bed, aware of everything going on around me when I decide I want to get up. I get up and start to walk out, when suddenly I realize I'm dreaming, and am aware of being back in my bed again. I tried this like... 5 times, and the 5th time, I was telling my friend about how weird it was that I couldn't get up, but I thought I was (and this was a dream again, it turns out). Finally after the 7th attempt, I was really up, but I've felt groggy all day as if I didn't sleep at all.

What is this?

What you described has happened to me a few times when I've been overworked and overstressed and not getting enough sleep. I don't know what or if there is a technical name for this experience, but in my circumstance I kept getting up and getting ready for work, only to realize that I'm still in bed and then really need to get up and get ready for work. And yes, I too felt sleepy all day long.

I've experienced this a lot. I think it's pretty common. I don't recall whether I was under stress when I had this type of dream, but it seems like it could be symbolic of frustration.
