I want to be dreaming and have something happen ...not to do it intentionally. Can you give me any ideas on how to make it happen? (Besides reminding yourself throughout the day that you're awake...)

Yes, I read it, and found it very interesting. And yeah, I tried to remind myself throughout the day, but I haven't been able to experience one. I used to have them all the time, I just wondered if it was something I did in the day that I'm not doing now...

First time I had a lucid dream was about 2 days after I researched it. It wasnt on purpose, but the concept was in my mind. I never reminded myself that I was awake throughout the day. The night after I researched it, I went to sleep just reminding myself I would remember my dream the morning after. Mid dream , my cat awoke me, but I was so involveed in my dream that I focused on going back to it while I drifted back to sleep. I found I knew what I wanted to do in the dream, and would have probably accomplished it if the cat hadnt begun to be such a disturbance

Thanks for your help, I'll try it! I remember this one dream I had...I was climbing a large ladder, afraid it was going to tip over...and then suddenly, it did...and I realized that it was a dream, so I could control it. I made the ladder go back up...and I continued the lucid-ness (hehe) throughout the rest of the dream...though I found it kind of pointless...for some reason. Whatwas your lucid dream?
