I think you have to get a a job there, or marry an American, before you can go and live there.

Actually, York can be more expensive, having lived in both. In general, the cost of living in England is higher than in the US.

Yeah, I don't think it was meant to make Christians look bad at all. It just made fun of that one nutty woman who happened to call herself Christian. I'm sure many of the people who are laughing at her are Christians themselves.

Although she seems like she is mentally ill so maybe it is cruel to be laughing at her.

quite a lot of christains do that actually you get some in town shouting it out alot and in other places..lol

That's true, but they're what most 'normal' Christians would call misguided I think, and most likely feel slightly embarrassed for them. Anyone else, unless they're also 'misguided', would simply call them nutjobs.
