I think it sort of makes sense even if you don't believe in the magic side of it; it could be reworked into a psychological therapy type scenario.

This is the first time I’ve ever posted on any board. When I read about “Ancestral Healing” it reminded me of my Sept 11 experience (more like “Ancestral Intervention”). I’ll try to make the story short

I worked in the building next to the World Trade Center. I believe I was kept safe and protected that day by my husband’s (Bill’s) mother. She died of thyroid cancer at age 39; the most obvious symptom was a nodule on her throat. On Sunday Sept 9th I woke up to discover a large lump on my neck. It seemed to develop overnight. I was surprised, but I knew Bill would be even more worried, so I made the first available appointment with my doctor, Tuesday Sept 11th 10:am. This kept me well out of harms way that ill-fated day.

Hello Julie, nice to hear from you; I like the sound of 'Ancestral Intervention', sounds a bit like some kind of time travelling scenario.

I was lead here due to my dreams and finding myself in a new place with so much unfolding before me, this very subject being the main thing. I have been researching ancestor worship for the past month now, actually it began as a means to heal from a painful break up. And a friend suggested that I read Altar of My Soul. It is about Santeria, a religion heavily based on ancestor worship. And with what I just read on your website, everything is beginning to make much more sense to me!!
