I dreamed that my sister was kidnapped and murdered, when I found out I was uncontrollably crying. Wherever I went I would cry. I saw people with their sisters and it made me incredibly depressed. For some reason know one else in my family was shown in the dream, someone forced me to tell my brother what had happened. I didn’t tell him for a day because I just couldn’t. The next day I went to tell him and when I said “our sister had been kidnapped”, he was very relieved sounding and said “yeah”, when I added that she was dead, he also freaked out and was inconsolable. After that I was half awake, half asleep but I was still making the “loss of breath noise” one makes when they are crying hard. When I was fully conscious I actually thought it had happened. I am now fully awake and don’t think it happened (I am in the UK, my family is in the USA) I don’t know if anything happened.

i actually get along with my sister, i cant think why i would Subconsciously want her harmed or dead!

First of all, I doubt if this dream means that you want anything bad to happen to your sister. The sister in the dream might not even represent your sister in waking life; in the dream, your sister could stand for a certain quality - she might even represent something about yourself.

It would be helpful if we know more about your sister and if there is anything important going on in your life.

She is someone i am envious of....in some ways. Those being that is she very attractive in all ways, intelligent, also that she is favored over myself in my family, especially with my mother. Last year i left home and moved to Italy for a year, after that year i came back to the US for 3 months; my sister and i got along, but not as well as we used to before i left the country a year before (we used to be best friends). After the 3 months in the states, i moved to the UK, I have now not seen her since September. We talk occasionally.
The important things happening in my life are:
I just got into university for my BA degree
That i really need a job
Also that lately i have really wanted a boyfriend

In the end I did get in contact with my family, I asked my dad if my sister was all right. He told me she was at her friend’s house on a sleep over (the friend is a girl she gets into mischief with …unbeknownst to my parents) , he told me he would call her to see if all was well and then call me back. He called back and said all was fine! I am still utterly bemused.

The part where she is murdered is interesting. You say she is favored. You also say you dont' know why you subconsciously want her dead. It isn't that you want HER dead, but you want the thing that makes you envious dead.
