Last night I dreamt the following:

I have not spoken to my grandmother for a very long time in real life. In my dream I was at my grandmothers house. I am looking for something. Grandmother is not at home. I am terrified of her coming in and seeing me. I look quickly. It is the weirdest thing; I am looking for a video game. My heart is racing with the thought that she will see me in her house, yet I cannot stop looking and I keep thinking I have found it but then it proves to be something else.

I then see her and she is opening the door. She sees me. I panic. She walks toward me and I look for the nearest exit; her front door, and I try and open it but it is closed. I keep trying to open it, hoping it will go open, I am pulling it and hitting it. It does not do me any good. I run upstairs. She is coming towards me, and I am upstairs. I run to the bedroom, which is very dark and scary for me to go in yet I do.

Then she starts talking to me and I "surrender" to what she says and make peace with everything, against my will.

What does it mean?

Why haven't you spoken to your grandmother in a very long time? Obviously you don't have to say exactly if it's personal, but I wonder if that has anything to do with it?

Looking for something and then being afraid of your grandmother could men that you are afraid that something about you will be found out.

It would help if you would explain something about what your grandmother means to you.
