Just as background to the dream, I am female and in a happy relationship with a great man.

The past few months, I have been having a series of sexual dreams about my openly gay (male) boss. They are making me stress out! I get along great with him at work, but lately it has been a little uncomfortable. (I know this sounds dumb, but does anyone else ever wonder if people KNOW that you've had a dream about them???) Anyway, I just feel strange around him since these have started. Also, I have met his "partner" and sometimes the dreams involve him too!!

So what does all this mean? When I am awake, I don't feel attracted to him in any way, but in my sleep I apparently can't stay away from him!! I also have a big fear that I'm going to say his name or something when I'm having the dream and that my boyfriend will hear and think something is going on! This is so awkward!!!

You may have a latent attraction to him on a subconscious level. Perhaps there is something about him specifically that you are attracted to--a cologne, his laugh, his hair, his likes or dislikes? It could be any or any combination of things like that. I find myself attracted to males with similiar political views even though they may not be that attractive to me physically.

Does he ever talk openly about his sexual life? If so, do you wish your sex life was more adventerous? That could also explain the dreams.

It could also be a way of wanting or desiring something you know you can't have. I have sexual dreams about priests sometimes, so yeah, that could be it too!
