I've been having dreams in which this guy appears. Besides being very hot I can't really describe him. He always shows up near the end of the dream and helps me resolve my problem or otherwise just walks with me or stands over to the side.
The other night I dreamt that two of my best friends were getting married, and I was the maid of honor. I'm hanging out in this orchard after the rehearsal, and I somehow manage to loose the rings (why the maid of honor had the rings, I have no idea). I'm searching frantically when I hear someone laughing. I look up, and there's my mystery guy sitting under a tree. He smirks and throws me the rings (which irritates me btw), and then hands me a jar. He tells me to keep the rings in it until the ceremony. I ask him who he is ,and he answers that he's 'familiar'.
Is this guy suppose to represent something in my subconscience? Or my actual conscience, maybe? Anyone have any ideas?

I read the description of animus, and its pretty dead on. Wow! I really wasn't expecting for there to be not only an answer, but a defined answer as well. Is there a reason why this animus has suddenly began to appear in my dreams? I can think of one time when he gave me strength during this type of nightmare.
Its funny how we imagine our guides as an attractive member of the opposite sex. That shows alot about the human psyche. He seems friendly so I guess that makes him the good kind of animus.
