1 more thing pip, if you don't mind?...could you explain rcon to me? I have a general idea of what it is but not how to use it. Can you help?

Lol now this is a funny ....... I'm still learning, but.......If u make a booking in the Booking diary u will at some stage need to enter passwords

1. Player Password
2. Rcon Password
3. Spectator Password

The player pass is the one that I normally set as 'free' and the rcon on your bookable will be what ever u set it as.

The basic commands for CS are the same as TFC although some are CS specific but u can find out abt those on various web pages, so, when u join ur bookable game, type in console...

1. rcon_port *****
2. rcon_password <password>

Once that is done you are all set to do what u want regarding map changes/settings etc. One tip, dont give everyone the rcon pass or u could find some idiot will do something u dont want them to.

Btw rcon is needed to kick/ban players, change maps etc

Off back to work now. Some of us would like to be in other jobs. Whats your advice on making the change?

My claim is not that of an Oracle, merely a wise woman, hence Forum Wisdom. Mal is very knowledgeable <----(big word) and gains all his information by study.........and the encyclopedia stapped to his hip

As for job changes, first of all u need to consider your finances, its no good changing to a job where you can't manage on the money they will pay you. Secondly follow your heart, if u r truly unhappy and feel the change will improve things then go for it.
