Last night, between the hours of eleven thirty and four fifty, I had a dream that I remember starting off as good. Though I cannot remember the specifics of the first dream, I know that it was pleasant, and had something to do about Gaia Cars and helping a family out with something. About halfway through the dream, I found myself inside the people's house who i was helping, and in it I had a different family, and that family made me drink this punch. I drank it happily, then something in me knew that it had alcohoul in it. But instead of making me drunk, the alcohoul slowly killed each of us. My father and Mother in the dream had deliberately killed us. but in the dream I had no idea why. There was also a small baby, my brother in the dream who had drunk the punch by a spoon, fed to him by my mother. In the dream, as I die, I accused my family of what they had done, and I slowly saw a large cloth spew out of my mouth. Now from this point in my dream, I had been an onlooker. I knew that the person I was seeing was supposedto be me, but it was as if I was looking upon myself from somewhere else. Then, the dream suddenly changed, and I was seeing through my own eyes as the same cloth was spewing out of my mouth, cloging my windpipe, making it hard to breath. I pulled at it, expecting it to be long and hard to remove, but it proved justthe opposite as the cloth came free of my mouth.

At this point, I would like to belive that I became semi-conciouss in my room. I had a similar dream before, one about when I was at my grandmothers house, in her living room, and everyone around me began to die. I knew only that they had begun to die because they had a short gasp of air that they sucked in quickly, and then their breath was stunted by the same cloth I had seen in my dream last night. As I often recount dreams I priviously had whilst I dream, this frightened me immensely. I awoke in my room, fully concious, and scared to death. Beliveing at any moment that there would be a stifiling cloth in my throat that I would not be able to pull out. I stood up, and, after praying, I went into my living room, wheere my family sleeps, and laied down on the couch until I was calmed. It was then, that I began to see all a manner of creepy things. I saw a man where our DvD cases had been, looking at me. I imagined ghosts, and was convined at any moment that my Fathers, rather amusing snoring, would stop at any moment. It had been quite a few years since I had a real nightmare, and I knew I was being foolish, so I opened my eyes and forced myself to look around the room. Of course there were no ghosts, I didn't believe in ghosts. Then, I remembered that I had to pass the DvD case to get to teh couch where I was then laying, and I knew that I would have noticed a man there. I stood up and passed by it. Seeing only the frightful image of diporportinate DvDs out of their boxes, I went to the bathroom. When I emerged, I heared my fathers snoring, and went into my room and clicked on all the lights. I wasn't afraid anymore, but I knew there was no way I'd be getting to sleep again.

I have scary dreams like that sometimes. The dreams themselves aren't that scary, in fact I don't remember that much of them, but the waking up part and still feeling freaked out is very scary. I think the last time I had something like that was early this year, it felt like there was a ghost in the room with me and I was just afraid. It took quite a while for rationality to take over, about ten minutes it seemed like, and I could go back to sleep again.

I think it could be connected to stress and/or lack of sleep, ironically.
