Im very used to haveing long dreams that when i have a short one it bothers me. Especially this one.

I drempt i was walking into a dark area. all i could see was this old man who was hooded in a black cloak. He held his hands before me as if he was trying to show me something on them. i noticed he had a weird symbol on his right hand. i saw several raised circles on his hand and inside the raised circles was a raised star ( it had 5 tips to it and no intersecting lines inside.) and inside the raised star was a button sized dot. He begain to itch at the dot on his hand. I remember looking away for no more then a moment to turn back and see him show me his hands again. there was now a gapeing hole inside the raised star where the button sized raised dot used to be. i could see blood and perhaps it was muscle but i remembered thinking of pure discust and the look of almost glee on the mans face as he scratched away at the wound in his hand more. i remember smelling a foul odor then wakeing up. least to say the dream disturbed me. any ideas as to what it could mean?

Did the man in the hooded cloak remind you of anyone in reality? It could be anyone---parent, friend, co-worker, or fellow classmate. Do you relate to the man, or can you relate to him in any way? He's hooded, so this could mean that the person has a hidden personality, something he or she tries to keep "under wraps."

Now the skin being itched away could represent whatever is getting "under your skin." Something is irritating you in reality and you are having trouble getting to the heart of the matter. The star and button one could indicate that you wish you could make it all go away magically, with a "push of a button."
