A few nights ago, I had this really short dream and I tried to find out what it meant, but I can't seem to piece everything together to get a coherent meaning. This is the dream:

I'm sitting in a hotel with about three of my friends, but I can't put names to faces. We're sitting on the floor next to the bed in a semi-circle, a newspaper in the middle. One of my friends places her fingers on the page and reads, 'a white man with a loaded gun' and then this white guy wearing a white shirt and short brown hair comes out into the doorway and he loads this handgun, pointing it at us. Then, the same friends hurriedly reads, 'this white guy with a loaded gun' again, and the first guy disappears. A second white guy steps out, wearing a black shirt and a black ski mask steps out, loads a pistol, and then points it at us.

Then I wake up. Weird much? Any suggestions on what it means?

Not really anything important, just that Heath Ledger died and my school's board of directors was fired. I don't think either has much to do with me, though...but I've been having a lot of strange dreams lately, and they've all been either with familiar people or familiar places, never both. It all started with one dream over the summer, but I don't remember anything from the dream except the very end. A woman's voice told me 'The red has limit on her fingers' and ever since then I've had weird dreams.

What I noticed about the dream was the contrast between black and white. The message I get from it is that opinions, beliefs, and thoughts that are extreme or absolute without any gray areas or moderation or balance can be like having a loaded gun at your head. The gun is figurative and not literal.

You need balance in your life. Try to see things from other's perspective and don't believe that there is only one way to happiness.
