Hi there everyone im new to this but i had a really weird dream the other night and if anyone could give me their thoughts on it i would appreciate it...

I dreamt that i was in a room and there was a hospital bed with the railings up, and in the bed was a small baby ( didnt know if it was a boy or girl) But the baby was just laying there and someone had said the baby was dying and had but a few hours..I asked someone why the baby wasnt being held and they said because he was sick and dying, so i said if he is dying he should be comforted and held, so i picked the baby up and held him in my arms till the baby died..

I woke up soo sad from this dream, if you could help interpret, it would be great..Thanks

The dream can suggest a situation in which you are using a point of view that implies finding a cure for a problem as the hospital bed suggests a hospital-like situation. Yet this point of view may be just an assumption. {Is this a hospital?}

The baby can represent a new or recent idea you have, one that may relate to a new project or to a new concept you have about somebody. The dying baby would imply that a new idea, project or concept about somebody is not a healthy one; it is not viable. When using this new idea or concept, you are not adding to your life.

The bed with railings up can suggest that when using a new idea, project or concept there might be reason to gripe or complain (as in “ranting and railing”) where this new idea appears as not viable. Yet here this is not to be done (as there is no shaking the rails or climbing out)

Holding a baby would usually imply giving one’s support to a new idea, project or concept. The scene shows that there is an aspect of yourself that is very aware that a new idea, project or concept you have is not one to be supported because it is unhealthy and not viable. (the baby wasn’t being held and they said because he was sick and dying) While you chose to support the idea out of compassion, you also do so with full knowledge that the new idea, project or concept will not survive. (so i said if he is dying he should be comforted and held) The loss or termination of this new idea may come with a great feeling of sorrow in your waking life. Waking up to this fact may be very sad. (I woke up soo sad)

In reponse to your PM I have to say I agree with a lot of ElizVanZee's ideas. Babies are usually connected with new ideas or beginnings... perhaps there is some new aspect of your life that you wish other people would help you with and that you feel it will grow into nothing if they don't, if it isn't nurtured and cared for properly?
