my name is Pauli and whilst I'm new to the message board I've been interested in dreams for years...

Just wanted to share my dream from last night...

I write to a couple of people in prison in the US (I live in Australia) anyway...I had a dream that I was visiting them (all at the same time) - they were each dressed in blue.

Later in the dream I was in a school room and in the corner was a small yellow bird who had its leg stuck in a spiders web. I helped rescue it and had to do so a second time when someone came around with a box to put it in which also contained a mangy and vicious looking cat.

Whilst I'm not sure of any specific meaning I do recognise the play on words - was the bird a jail bird? I generally write my letters before I go to sleep so I was most likly thinking of my penfriends as I dozed off...

Do you think the yellow bird represents the pen pals, or is it you who are trapped and the spider and cat represent the prisoners? What are their crimes?

Hmmm...that's an interesting idea...I think it's unlikly to be that as I find the writing to inmates a really rewarding thing to do...at times it can be difficult finding the chance to write as I've been really busy of late so maybe that has something to do with it...thanks...
