Not a very interesting dream, but one of the few I remember, so why not post it?

The environment was the bleachers in the school gym, not sure if that is significant. There was quite a few people there. Maybe enough to be a gym class, but who knows. Anyway, I was sitting and talking to this girl. I know her in real life, her name is Julia. She's in a couple of my classes and we've been getting to know each other pretty well lately. We talk everyday and I have to say she's just a generally fun person to be around.

Moving on, in the dream, after awhile I took her hand. I continued to hold it as we were talking, and the dream certainly had a romantic feel. We stayed like this, talking, for a little while.

Finally, another kid came up and started talking to me. I know this kid too, he's a freshman, we play tennis together, but we're not really friends. Anyway, I talked to him briefly, turning my attention away from Julia. After just a short period of time I got rid of him, and turned my attention back to Julia, however, she was gone. And that's all I remember...

Does this dream mean anything? I really don't know. I've only ever considered Julia a friend, and never really had any feelings like that for her. However, a couple weeks ago one my friends suggested I ask her out. I've been really confused of my own thoughts and feelings lately, and frankly, this just makes me even more confused. If anyone can interpret this for me, it'd be great.

I think it's mixed feeling. I thought a couple of things when I read it.

First, you do like her (you may not have realized it yet) and maybe your subconscious is telling you to ask her out before she loses interest in you (trust me, as a girl, she must be interested in you a bit. even if you're only friends, her being interested in you just as a friend is a good thing)

OR

you're afraid that if you ask her out and you guys DO date that it'll totally kill your friendship.


Now the tough decision is figuring out which it is.
Just think about all your feelings for her.
