Hi I am new here. Last night I had some strange dreams but there was one that that really stuck w/ me. I was wondering if anyone could help w/ it?...

In it my boyfriend went to a jewelry store & picked out an engagement ring for me. But I don't think I was supposed to know that's what it was. He told me to hold the box & through out my dream I had it in my purse. I would forget I had it & I would be different places like a friends house & the Cure concert and then I would pull the box out but I never took a peek @ the ring! On the bottom of the box was the price of the ring still.

The funny thing is that in reality if this were the case I would have to have to know what it looked like if it were in my possession...lol.

Have you been together a long time? Is the idea of getting engaged something you would think about, or is it way out of the question in waking life?

we have been together for a little bit & the discussion of getting married has been spoken about. if & when it were to happen I have no clue!!

Maybe you've been thinking about commitment and where your relationship is leading, perhaps only subconsciously, and you're partially unsure about what your boyfriend think about the same subject, again maybe only subconsciously or maybe not? I'm not sure the dream has to actually 'mean' something as such, it's more like a natural thing for your subconscious to wonder about, even more so if you've talked about it - but seeing as you haven't decided it is kind of hidden from view to your subconscious too.
