i had a two part dream last night. for one i dreamed that i was pulled into a van and then a gun was held to my head... this is a recurring nightmare i have in which i wake up still feeling the cold barrell of the gun to my head. over the years this dream has changed from being a random faceless person to being a very psychotic ex boyfriend of mine. so after having the gun held to my head last night i dreamed that i walked into a house... it felt like it was my house but that i was a small child. i walked into the bathroom and saw a man standing there using the restroom. then i walked into the bedroom and saw a woman in a nightgown sitting up on a bed smoking a cigarette and crying. she stared at me and smiled even though she was crying very hard. she reached out for a hug but i was scared and walked away. i walked into the bathroom and saw the man still using the restroom. he looked at me and his eyes were sunken in. he was wearing a business suit and he was very pale. he started coughing really really hard and looked at me for a long time and then told me he was sick. then i looked in the mirror and i was a little boy. (i'm an adult woman) i looked back at the man and said "you have aids" then i walked back into the room with the woman and gave her a hug. and then i saw the man cheating on the woman. it was almost like i (as the little boy) was having a vision about this couple. and then all of a sudden i was back in the van and my ex boyfriend shot me in the head. it was so awful and yet when i woke up it didn't freak me out. it felt normal! and that freaked me out. what is going on!

The part where you get shot could mean that you want to kill off a part of yourself. The part where you are a little boy could mean that you want a fresh start. The couple you see could represent your former relationship.

your ex-boyfriend/the gunman is the way he is because of his parents/upbringing, i think you could have became him as a child although i don't think it is literally his life or his situation, your dream could be telling you that you should be aware of people with strange pasts it can lead to wrong things.
