I have had this re-occuring dream, it happens every few months for the past 2 years.

So I go to my Grandma's house or sometimes another relative, but the house never looks how their real houses do. Then usually my Mom and I (I'm 25 and married by the way) get there and they tell us we'll be sleeping in the rooms above the garage. It looks small on the outside but the area above the garage has 3 bedrooms and a living room. I know that I do not want to sleep up in that area of the house because there is a very mean female ghost who lives just in that area and she will scream at you, shake the bed, and hurt you.

Usually my Mom will go to sleep without incident, but I end up being tormented by this ghost and the only way to get away from it is to go out of the area the ghost stays in. So I will explore the house alone and generally find hidden rooms, one hidden room that is always there is through a series of doors and it is a very large auditorium with lots of boxes and things (like what you would find in a very old attic). Also there is usually a hidden bathroom that is huge and white tile with a very large hot tub/bathtub.

I am wondering what the mean ghost in the dream means, so I could possibly change something in my real life to no longer have this dream.

Could the ghost be a "ghost of the past?" Is there something in your past you are tormented by? You describe it as a "very mean female ghost." Did a female torment you in the past?
