Default werewolves

I dreamt that me and 3 people (2 boys and one other girl) were walking on a big field. We soon came apon a fence with a huge gate and this girl was nailing a sign to it. I couldn't really make out what is said, and then all of a sudden, the gate opened and me and the 2 boys and the one girl fell down the hill where the woods were. We bashed into a tree and this white slime fell on our heads. Then by the tree was a sign that said, "If you get white slime on you, quickly eat these berries!" So next to the sign we noticed bright red berries. In the distance we heard a wolf cry, and started choking down the berries as fast as we could. The wolf's cry grew louder, and we started heading up for the gate where we first fell in. Running up to the entrance, the wolf popped out of the shrubs and started chasing us. Me and one of the boys made it close to the gate when it shut and locked itself. The wolf pinned the one boy up on the gate and then he (the boy) started mumbling something, and then the wolf got off of him and started running after me! I was so scared i didn't move. It then pinned up on the fence. It started snarling and foaming at the mouth. All of a sudden, for some reason, i started saying the Hail Mary, and the wolf got off of me and went back into the woods!! Then i woke up. I'm still puzzled by it.

It's very common to have dreams with nasty creatures coming after you; they often represent anxieties that you are facing in waking life, the fact that you made it go away with your Hail Marys shows that you have the strength to face up to the things that are bothering you and make them go away.

See also the dream dictionary on Werewolf but don't dwell on it too much, like I said, you made it go away so that is a very positive sign.

The wolf and the berries makes me think of a fairy tale. I agree with Maljonic that it probably represents some type of anxiety in waking life, but I was wondering if you were reading something or maybe watching something on TV that made you think of wolves, rather than another thing to represent your anxiety, just because the dream was so story-like
