I fell asleep and it seemed immediately this dream started. I found myself in a house from a previous dream which was a nightmare of a Family who lived there and now ghosts of them was all that remained... they would switch forms from personality they dead look when angry or sad but an alive look when happy... I stayed with them no longer afraid as i had been previously it was a mother father and two children from an earlier time period possibly the 1950s... they invited me to follow them outside by a lake where they had a family picnic ...as I looked to the left of me at the dock I noticed there was a familiar face along with some unfamiliar ones as well.... It was one of my Best friends... he had died... he told me about it and said that this was the place people came after they died and had no idea as to where to go... suddenly more people i knew started to appear other friends and sadness just overwhelmed me.... then I saw her ..... My ex-Fiance.... ( she really had died in real life) ... and I couldnt stop crying and I became hysterical and ran.... I skip to loved ones of the family members and became one to bring them to say their last goodbyes.... it changed all of the sudden with me helping a girl in a fight with another girl and me befriending a man who i hate... after that I went back to the Dock and my friend told me I had to stop coming that I would waste my life with the dead and that i should live ....it was the saddest dream ever i woke up crying... Ive never experienced a dream like this... why?

How long ago did your ex-fiance die? This dream seems to be all about death, loss and the past. It could be part of the grieving process.
